This week I took another survey, but it was with my mom and grandmother, to see what the other rooms in the house were going to be like. (The rooms that aren’t bedrooms) For the dinning they had decided that they wanted the color tempted toasted coconut for the walls. They also said we would put in a new chandelier, dining room table, and chairs. They still needed to think about if they were going to put the china cabinet in there. For the living room they had decided that they wanted the same color for the living room as the dining room. In the living room there would be a sewing machine, and all of my grandmother’s fabric. We would also have a love seat in there. There would NOT be a T.V. in that room. In the den, they wanted the same color as the dining room and living room. The den would be the family room. There would be a couch, 2 recliners, the T.V. and a fireplace. Next week I will hopefully have the bathrooms and laundry room surveyed of what they want.

Alright, so lately I have taken surveys for bedrooms. I got what each of my family members would want for their rooms. My brother wanted a Skylanders™ theme. For the walls he wanted blue, green, yellow, or red. He wanted to keep his bunk bed, just paint it a different color. He also wanted to get a different dresser and T.V. My sister’s share a room but I took surveys from each of them separately. The first one said she wanted pink and blue walls. She also wants day beds, and a princess dresser. My other sister said that she wanted green and purple. She wants BIG beds, and BIG dresser, she also wants a new T.V. My mom said she wanted a nice neutral room. She wants the colors to be brown, tan, or beige. She wants a comfortable bed, coffee table, and a T.V. in her room. My grandmother said she wants the color golden February in her room. She also just wants her mother’s bedroom set, which is all wooden.

I am quite frustrated with my work at the moment. I can't exactly find the right furniture for the rooms. For the kitchen I can’t find islands in magazines or anything for the island in the middle of the kitchen. I can’t find bunk beds for my brother’s room. I can’t find the right couches for the living room. I also can’t find any sort of furniture for the sewing room. Yet, for the laundry room, I can find everything just right for it. For the bathrooms, I can’t find bath tubs, showers, toilets, nor can I find sinks. I also can’t find a chandelier for the dining room, nor a table. What makes me the most frustrated is the fact that I can’t find the wooden flooring I would really love for this project. Some of the floors are too dark or their too light. It’s just so dadgum frustrating.
